Tablet

For one of my clients I support I need to buy a tablet so he can play music and watch his favourite soap.
We need one with out a camera or if it had a camera that we could switch off with out client being able to switch back on .
With out going in to details not allowed a camera.
So very basic tablet that plays music and watch a soap on it.
Any ideas?

There is no way that you could disable the camera that the client could not reverse. There are apps that claim to do it but a simple factory reset would put the camera back in action.
Even the most basic, cheapest tablet has at least one camera, usually two.
You could speak to a local tech repair firm to see how much they would charge to take the lens(es) out and fill the holes with epoxy resin.

By the way, if you do decide to get the cameras removed by the cheapest but reliable tablet such as an Amazon Fire. Don't worry about asking for the cameras to be removed - tell the techie that he has to go and work on a military base for a couple of weeks and is not allowed cameras of any kind.

Could you scratch the glass covering the lenses so it obliterates the lenses capabilities.
