Hi there - i want to backup EVERYTHING in Outlook 2003. Not just the mailbox pst files, but also Rules, Account Settings, Contacts, absolutely everything, so that if i need to reinstall windows, i can restore the backup by replacing the files, all all will be set. I know there are some programs that can do this, but i would like to do it myself. Any ideas where the files are? Thanks PM

Should be in the folder...

C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_id\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

If you want a service that means you never have to delete an email or file etc get google mail
