Parlour game for students: anyone know the rules?
A friend of mine was at university in the 80s; and she explained to me how she participated in this parlour game.
Two people are the leaders, they are 'in on it' from the start. The other players don't know what's going on and haven't played it before.
The two leaders sit on their own in a closed room, then invite the first player in. The first player has to work out what's going on. However, all the two leaders do is copy whatever the first player does.
Eventually, the first player 'gets it' and joins the two leaders. The panel of three then invite the next player in and repeat the process.
In the game I heard about, at one stage a player took her shoe off and dropped it out the window; the panel of (by this time) about 7 people did the same. This would be mildly amusing if you were a drunken student.
Does anyone know the full rules to this game?
