Obviously not many tacticians about, u_b ?

Of the two, I preferred Sorry - maybe because my dad made a board and hand painted it, which made it that little bit special!

I think that a lot of board games are a copy of another one, with just some slight addition or alteration, to get you interested.

Can't beat the originals though...

Crikey, when I think of all the ones that we dabbled with as children, some never to see the light of day again - not such a bad thing - they were dire!

Did you ever play Halma? Checkerboard (256 sqs) 2 or 4 players...

Battleships was a firm favourite in our household, we used to have the grid printed off...no plastic counters and upright board then, just a pen and sheet of paper !!
