When I go to Las Vegas in November I would like to play Blackjack. Is it an easy game for a beginner to play?

Simple game to learn, but more than any other game i've played, the advantage is with the dealer.
The dealer only has to equal your score to win, menaing they will win a lot more often than you.
In fact, the odds are better on roulette. even in America with their 00 as well.

Thanks, I may just play the slots then.
I envy you DillyGent, love going to Vegas as gambling is a passion of mine...

Won $3,000 on the "Champagne" slots, but felt like a million - I was so excited!!

If you play roulette your on your own, (so to speak), but if you play blackjack - depending on where you sit - you can be intimidated by the other punters as your next move can influence their play of cards. Best to stand back and watch a few games first, to get the mood of play...

I used to play roulette quite a lot in London, but my favourite was craps, until it was scrapped (licence costs), but never played it in Vegas....maybe one day tho!!

Enjoy your trip !!
