pub bandits- jackpot indication
My mate Gwilym is a bit of a liar. He reckons that Bandits show they are going to pay out the jackpot if the manufacturers icon on the front of the machine flashes or turns red.
Is he lying? I think its wierd that the manufacturers would put in this kind of feature, surely there would be a fight for the bandit whenever it started to flash...

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.It depends on the manufacturer and model. I can remember playing one a few years ago where if it flashed red when you were on the feature you couldn't lose (ie you could keep gambling up to the jackpot).
Of course, the motivation for incorporating these tells into the machine's interface is to encourage the punters to play them in order to find the indicators. The machine won't pay out any more money, however.
