Unless its a user modifyer game such as Elder Scrolls Morrowind or Oblivion you can't. Otherwise graphics/music/mod files will be in

C:/ Program Files/[Developer Folder]/[Game Folder]/

Sometimes save files will be here and sometimes they will be in

My Documents/My Games/[Game Folder]

All this is assuming you are talking about PC as opposed to console games.
