You can refuel your aircraft yourself at any time by going on the drop down menu, select aircraft, select fuel and put in any amount up to maximum. You can even do this while flying though that would be cheating.
If you are flying a large aircraft just a short distance with high realism settings you need to adjust the fuel settings to low readings as the aircraft will be to heavy to land without crashing.

Hmmmm... suppose if you're flying a 767-300 on what I call the 'Sultan Route' (Riyadh to Abu Dhabi) you've got a point.
The reason I asked this question is because I like doing connecting flights e.g Dublin to London to Paris CDG.After all there would be no fun in cheating refueling in the air although I understand the U.S army do it sometimes......
Anyway happy flying.
P.S Knowing that you are a retired pilot who did you fly for and what aircraft did you fly ?
Some one in my class wants to become a pilot but they don't have 20/20 vision. Can they still become a pilot ?

Hi Lovejoy,
First, you must be confusing me with CLANAD, Another AB member who is or was an airline pilot, I am just a flight sim enthusiast.
As for 20-20 vision I did take some private pilot lessons and no one mentioned eye tests, I have seen some airline pilots wearing glasses.
As for in flight refueling, you should get this add on for MS 2004.....................

When i got it some time ago it cost around 20 from pc world, the Tornado is not to hard to fly but in flight refuling is is very difficult and takes hours to learn how to do it.
