In the 60s when I was a child we played Monopoly. Can anyone remember what the playing pieces/tokens were?I vaguely remember something like a galleon and also a train but nothing else. Anyone got any ideas - the set was quite old - probably bought in the 50s.

The ones I remember were a train, a boot, a top hat, a boat and a dog, I'm sure there was another one but can't remember what it was.
Oh, was it a car?

There was a ship, a train, a car, a tank and a motorbike and something else! Earlier editions had a thimble and an iron I believe.
ive played with a lot of differnet monopoly sets, the ones i remember (although not all of them were in all sets)

a thimble
the car
the boot
the ship
the iron
the cannon
the dog
a horse

i curently have the usa 85 version of the game and it has:a wheelbarrow.. which ive never seen before in another set.

i think the game was patneted in 1936 and originally made in 35, so its had a lot of chance to change.. its also been in at least 30 different languages and countrys
