ps2 game suggestions please

i have brought my brother a PS2 for xmas (he still didnt have one, and well the 360 was too much money for me) anyway.. i will spend up to �50 on games for him. he is 34, likes football, poker and music. what games should i get him. if i can get 2-3 that'll be great

try going to Blockbusters
They often have offers on pre-owned games (4 for �20 or something)

Or go for the platinum edition games - older games that are usually about �20 but brand new.

New release games are usuaully around �30-�40 each

For the cheaper options above, you could go for PES 4/5 (5 should be available on them now) for a footie game.

One of the GTA games, Gran Tourismo 3, Midway Arcade Classics 1/2 if he enjoys some of the old classics.

Not sure about any Poker games, and have never tried any of the music games, though you can get Karaoke/Dance Party/Composing software

For football, Fifa 07 or Pro Evolution Soccer 6 are the most recent releases (previous versions are available for less cash).
There has always been an argument about which one is better - Fifa has all the official stadiums, kits, players etc, while Pro Evolution is considered by many to have the better more realistic gameplay.
For music - what type of music is he into? If he likes dance music then you have a couple of options - Music Generator 3 which is a music creation tool allowing you to make your own music but it is very time consuming! There is also 'Rez' which is perfect for any dance music fan (I consider it to be one of the best games ever made!). It's a unique game though so may not be to everyones tastes!
As for poker - I have no idea at all! (sorry!)

If he hasn't already got it, definitely get him Resident Evil 4 which is one of the best PS2 games i've ever played, i promise you, he'll love it.
