Nintendo DS lite... memory cards?

I'm really hoping someone can help me on this one... and I thank anyone who can help me in advance!

I've orderd an Nintendo DS lite, which is coming in the post, I've suddenly rememberd about memory cards... are they needed in Nintendo DS lite consoles?

I image memory cards are needed... but if so... what cards are suitable? I've no idea... I've searched the web and nothing!

It's really fustrating... because I can image my spanking brand new console coming in the post with all the lovely games and I won't be able to use the stupid thing!

Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Please.

Can I be an extra pain in the bum? Is memory built in the games?

I purchased my console in the hope that the contents have the basic bits... like charger and stuff... do you know if it will come with basic stuff?

Each game holds its own saves/data. Mine came with DS, Charger and 2 touch screen stylus'. Just buy a game and off you go.

just a suggestion but get big brain academy rather than brain training if you were to purchase any of them absolutely addictive i have got all my mates into it and we are all approaching our 30s!

furrycheeky, I'm glad to hear no memory card is needed, my console came in the post the morning after I asked on here, hence why I've been really delayed in checking this thread... what can I say!? Nintendogs is so cute! I can't put it down! I orderd tons of games... the way it's going they aren't going to get played!

babybop6379... I was going to order a brain training style game, but I'm not sure my patience can handle it!
