ps3 40gb vs 60gb

Hey, can anyone advise me on PS3... need to know what is the difference in the 40 and 60 GB ones? does have a PS2 at the moment and looking into buying a PS3... please advise? thanks in advance ;)

one of the big differences is that the 40GB version WILL NOT play your PS2 games.. whereas the 60GB one will! im looking into getting a ps3 as well and am def heading down the 60GB route. Also the obvious difference is the 60gb one has more memory so you can save more games in there. i think i also read that the 60gb one has more USB ports (4 as opposed to 2), and has a gloss, as opposed to matte finish on the 40gb version, but someone else should confirm that...

Thanks for the answer! i have read in a review that the 60 gb does have more usb ports and sd card slots that the 40 gb one doesnt... so yep... i'm off to buy my boyfriend the 60gb one for xmas ;)
