I have just bought this new monitor for a PC

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-P223W-CrystalBrit e-Widescreen-Monitor/dp/B000VPG18E/ref=sr_1_3? ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1195560824&sr=1-3

This apparently doesn't have a DVI port thingy, so has a VGA I believe? and I want to be able to connect an Xbox 360 to it. so I really want to know if this is the lead I need to connect them

?? can anyone help?

It would be much appreciated, I don't want to give someone half a present at Christmas.

Thanks for the quick response, i'm quite impressed that I managed to get to the bottom of that one....my computer knowledge is shall we say basic.

Cheers all.
I'll back you up, I used this set up X-Box with that cable (or similar) into a computer monitor. In fact I think on a standard X-Box (not the black one) this is the only way to get true HD output.

The one you link to is, I think the offical one, the others on the market will be just as good but about 5 cheaper. This one for example....
