i know i know totally crappy question but what is the difference about a nintendo ds and a nintendo ds lite?

The lite is....errrrrrmmmm...lighter! much thinner and easier to hold :o)

Wished I'd waited longer for mine as just bought Daughter one for Xmas and it looks better than my plain DS one!!

Their all cool tho!!!!!! :o) I'm looking forward to playing the games on mine that she has got for crimbo!

Good question,
The DS lite is smaller than it's predecessor as well as being better designed. The black and white ones look more like Apple products than games consoles.
The screens are much brighter and can be viewed at a wider angle than the older one. The stylus is also far less likely to fall out of the side than the earlier model. Hope this helps.

I bought 2 lites for my younger daughters last christmas....no trouble at all.

This christmas my eldest decides she wants one too. Could I find one? NO!!!!! had to go on ebay and pay �40 over the odds (plus another tenner for postage) so not to disappoint.
