Help!! I am not expert at games but someone has given me a Nintendo DS and I have been enjoying myself with 'Narnia'. I have completed all the quests (apart from the new dwarf cave, which I have found out you can only do after rescuing Edmund)) but am now totally stumped as to how to go about rescuing Edmund. I have been running around Narnia for two evenings in desparation!!

Can anyone out there please give me a pointer in the right direction. I am sure someone aged 7 would laugh at my plight, but age is not on my side.

Well earlier this year I was a 44D but luckily I lost some of it. They are uncomfortable and do get in the way, and in the heat they get dreadfully sore. I didn't look pregnat from the back either (everyone said it'll be a boy) but I wasn't that big at all, could bend down and touch my toes right through to the end (and not bending knees). I was a big at 5months as I was at 9....

we are both the same about saying yes I am fine when we aren't :-(
Oh lovely jno, thanks muxo! My daughter actually thought it was from Baz!!

I come from a very uncuddly and un touchyfeely family and there wasn't a lot of sympathy around, although they were always there when the going got tough, which is all that counts really. We were never told that we were loved. Whereas I love cuddling and hugging and always tell them (when he's behaved!) that I love them!
This engagement that has been announced, as they have been living together sometimes, how do they do the virgin test on her?
neti they ask her if she's ever done anything naughty...she says 'no, don't be silly'...they say 'oh, ok, that's alright then'. Sorted.
Looking forward to the engagement jigsaw, I think I've still got the Charles & diana one...spookily there was a piece missing :o/
I come from the uncuddled clan too but I'll hug anyone who stands still long enough...I think I scare the milkman.

Lottie why are you Orinoco womble? Are you doing community service again?
Oh dear you poor uncuddled Biddies.... here have a hug ...

Calmer day today .Mr S isn't a nasty tempered person and all this nittiness is totally out of character.I'm sure if he could have his usual whisky of an evening he'd be in a better frame of mind :)
He's always been fit and healthy and I think this has come as a bit of ashock and it's understandable he's out of sorts .Especially with the wobbles as I suppose he feels as if there's no light at the end of tunnel much as I keep reassuring him .

Anyway I've told him to button it and behave or I'll hide his stoma bags then he will be in the poop :)
This did raise a smile thank goodness .
Oh dear biddies, I'm starting to feel like The Lucky Spinster here... happily unmarried ever after... I've actually never lived with anyone (i.e. as in cohabitated) and now would probably be too late, you get so set in your ways and not being all that healthy and energetic... there's one thing Dr Phil always says: "Are you fun to live with?" and I keep answering No, I wouldn't be:( But if I did live with a man I'd probably do a Woofy on him ha ha - I'm the "level with me or you're history" kind of woman too.

Neti I'm curious about something but it's a bit personal so please just ignore this if you don't want to say, but... why does an uncuddly family take on so many adopted children? I've been imagining your family maybe were missionaries or something and now that you introduced the uncuddly factor I just had to ask, sorry if I'm prying (well I am aren't I) but as I said just ignore it.

Stayed indoors and went insane today, the streets are extremely slippery and they're warning about it endlessly on the radio. Last night I was thinking about setting the scaffolding on fire. It's the plastic wrapping that's really driving me insane. Abandoned that idea, the fumes would probably not be healthy ha ha...

Jno we're all waiting to hear whether or not our crown princess is pregnant yet, could you tell us? ;-)

Meanwhile, back at Vinny's place https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1ZZreXEqSY
Oh swedie, we were very much loved and my mother loved children but they just weren't touchy feeling, We had good childhoods, and beautiful homes although we weren't spoiled (well OK I was a bit!) I mean we kissed goodbye and goodnight everytime, but no unnecessary cuddles. If we were ill or had a hurt or heartache we'd get a cuddle, but it wasn't an everyday occurance, whereas my daughter and I are forever cuddling. I'm not sure if other families cuddled or not, none of my friends parents seemed to. Mr N's parents didn't cuddle their children either and they were fabulous parents.
DH is home again, very tired but peeing like a good'un...glad to hear you had a good day Shaney..DH was the same, it was a personal affront when he was first ill.
Keep your chin up Kit
Every time I see my sons I tell them I love them and give them a hug. I think that was because my parents weren't cuddlers and I want my sons to know how I feel about them. I suppose that says a bit about how I feel about my childhood even though I was well looked after and had all the comforts of life.
Hi Woofy good news about Mr W being home again. I know you'll keep him on the 'straight and narrow' now.
My post about my sons comes across like I'm always kissing and hugging but I don't see them all that often. My eldest especially as I only see him about twice a year.
Hi jude, maybe we come from times when cuddling wasn't thought off. I never even thought of asking if they loved us, we just sort of knew that they did. It was certainly a No nonsense period, got slapped when necessary and a "well done" if necessary. I think it shows how good my parents were by the way that all bros and sisters still love each other and get on so well (apart from my snobby bro, but even he seemed better this time).
Well that sounds pretty normal after all Neti - I thought perhaps you meant they were terribly stern or something. I believe people are like dogs or like cats, we're meant to be close to each other's bodies but it doesn't - necessarily - have to mean cuddling all the time.

Woofy there was a peeing song thread in CB a couple of months ago, did you see it, you could print it out for your husband to encourage him ha ha. I'll see if I can find it.

***

Found it, it was actually an incontinence thread so maybe not print it out as that might not be perceived as encouraging;-) but make some kind of collage...??

Hi Jude:)
(Just joking Woofy although it MIGHT be fun!)
I remember that when I was about 8yrs I didn't ever want to leave my mum even to go to school and used to cry going down the path, and it wasn't cos I disliked school, I just so wanted to be with my mum.
jno jnr has always had a hug from both parents, and what's more sometimes does it himself, so that's nice.

Kit, I went to a Function this evening and there were some journalists there (including Kate Adie, but I didn't get to talk to her), so I asked this very question and the consensus was no, she's not pregnant, people just don't do that these days, at least not at throne level. Since the ceremony isn't scheduled for six months or more, she wouldn't fit into any wedding dress of less than marquee size. I think that's probably true. They couldn't marry in 2012 (Olympics and grandma's 60th anniversary), so I think that's the reason for announcing it now and marrying next year.
I ain't British yet jno so I meant our Victoria who was married earlier this year - just jokingly implying you might be privy even to that information:)
ah, I am not an expert on foreign royals, except your king of course; the news of his exploits crosses borders. Though I see she is 203rd in line for the British throne as well, so perhaps I should pay more attention.
woo, the Beatles are on itunes at last
