Both my kids have a ds but hers is all scratched on the screen - it's a pink one. My friends little girl also has a pink one that was scratched. Son is younger and more heavy handed but his silver one is fine. Could this be a fault on the pink ones - anyone come across this?

I think this happens no matter which colour DS you have. Your daughter's might be worse because of the type of games that she plays. I have just bought a pink DS but also have a white one. Do you use screen protectors? They are really good, and once they get scratched up you can just peel them off and put new ones on. Once you've scratched up the actual screen, there's nothing you can do about it except replace the whole thing so I'd really recommend the screen protectors. The best ones I've come across are the GAME ones.
