Play Station 3

I know u can use the playstation to surf the net, however..... can u get msn messenger on it. Would u have to (if its possible) load windows on it to then download msn ??? any ideas welcome. cheers

There is no way of getting MSN on the PS3. You can't load Windows onto it either as it runs on a Linux based OS.

It will never be available on there either as it's a Microsoft program and they're quite happily involved in a console war with Sony. MSN on the 360 was a big selling point so they won't shoot themselves in the foot by making it available for their competition.

I don't personally own a PS3 (waiting for bit of a price drop/FF XIII) but you could try one of the browser based IM services see if they work on it. The one I tend to use when I'm on a Mac (yuck) is http://www.meebo.com/
