Castlevania:Symphony of the Night

Symphony of the Night is a bonus game added with the PSP version of Castlevania:The Dracula X Chronicles.

I have completed the game.But, there is a part of the castle I just cannot get past.
Can anyone help me please??
It is the long narrow corridor with white spikes on the floor and ceiling.I have the BAT card,which means I can turn into a bat,and fly to the end of the corridor.At the end of the corridor there is a door with a blue glow around it.
I have the card which allows me to go through blue coloured doors.But,as a bat it won't allow me through.
When,as a bat,I even used the MIST method in order to pass through the door.But,even that failed,as I then turned back into my human form and the spikes kept hurting me and got killed.
So,how on earth do you get past the blue door at the end of the corridor?
(perhaps this is an error within the game,and so you cannot get past the door at all)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

What you need is the Spike Breaker armour. It can be found in the Catacombs dark area, and you will need the bat's sonar to navigate to it.

I'll try that out.
I have the Bats sonar,so it's down to the Catacombs then.
I presume that's right at the bottom of the castle.

Don't want to be the one to break it to ya Imo, but that batman suit's a wee bit too tight for ya now .... your {ahem} manly bits and pieces look like they're being strangled ..... not that I notice these things, or summat, or nuffin ..... cough cough splutter .....
