not that I know of. some xbox 360 magazines usually have demos with them and of course there's Xbox live! You can usually download a demo of most upcoming new releases and newly released games. I downloaded the star wars FU demo before it's release and pro evo 9 and a few others as well. That's ur best bet to keep up with demos
Talking about xbox live. I'm not connected yet as I am waiting for my conservastory to be built so I can rig everything up in there.
How do I connect to xbox live though? I don't want cables running all over the place. Can I just get a phone socket put in my conservatory and then plug the cable in to that and away i go?
you just need to set up a modem as you would to use the internet and then just plug your xbox into the modem using a standard ethernet cable. Away you go it is that easy! Obviously you wil have to set up an account but once you do you will eligible for a months free service as you are a new user. after that you will have to pay them using a debit card or something.
yep that's rght, I use the same modem I use for my PC but have to keep swapping the ethernet cables around if depending on which machine I wish to use on-line
Also if I had a wireless router (which i don't) The I can buy the wireless adapter and simply plug that in to my xbox and it will automatically find the signal is that right? Although I take it these method can be a bit slower than attaching a modem directly to the xbox?
If you buy a wirelss router you will be better off pluggin the xbox straight into the router and then using the PC for wireless, as you have to buy an official xbox wirelss adapter thingy which costs about 80 quid....money grabbin ba**ards microsoft are lol
Jus been reading about the months free service and was wondering something.
I bought Halo 3 and have got a free 4 hour subscription. If i use that, will it affect my free 1 months free service?
