I have a couple of questions regarding this program: 1) Does it backup the registry when doing a backup? 2) If so does it do it everytime? only when backing up the entire system? or can you select when to do it? 3) If not does anybody know of a program that does backup including the registry? Freeware would be nice as the Australian Dollar is pretty worthless these days. I am using Windows ME OEM edition and want to backup to a CD burner and use CD-R/Ws. I have DirectCD and Easy CD Creator.( Microsoft, those clever people, didn't include backup on the installation disk as apparantly it's unnecessary).

From your intro: "I have a couple of questions regarding this program" what program are you referring to or are you looking for a recommended back up program - it's not clear.

The name of the program is My Own Backup. It is version 2.1 and I downloaded it from http://home.swipnet.se. The questions are regarding this program, however I am open to suggestions as to other backup programs
Try 'Advanced Backup' (search Google) I have used it for 6 months with only a nagscreen to cancel each time. It even backs up my user.dat which I believe is the registry file. Anyway you could always export a copy of the registry using regedit.exe. Make a new folder, call it 'Reg' or something then you can easily backup that folder. Hope this helps.
