The K M Links Game - December 2024 Week...

You all know the ones: Pink, Tasty, Lovelier etc etc. Now I know that some people will say to ignore them, and that's all well and good, but I just had a look in adverts, and was confronted by a "First 20 Questions" that pretty much solely consisted of this sort of thing, and couldn't be bothered to look at the second page, or waste my time reporting them all. As a consequence, there may well have been question/s that I could have helped with on the second page.
My point is that surely I'm not the only one to feel like this, so people with "new" questions may be missing out on help that others could give them because their questions have been pushed off the page by questions that have already been answered (many times).
I don't have a solution (apart from ABEd having to spend a lot of time culling/moving/compiling these questions), but I do feel that the usefuleness of the site is being impacted by these constantly repeated questions. Especially when those that have posed them will generally have ignored the "has this question already been answered" box.
I know there have been similar postings to this, and some suggestions on how to fix some of the problems, but was feeling a bit cheesed off about the situation and wanted to point out that ignoring the posts may lead to "genuine" posts being ignored as well.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Thanks LeMarchand. (I certainly don't enjoy spending too long doing that spadework.) Intervening where a user is posting multiple quickfire questions is one suggestion (see elsewhere). The 'search' facility is an obvious means of re-directing the multiple questions, though it will take a great deal of work - according to people far more technical than I am. We are working up messages for the homepage etc.
Any other suggestions gratefully received.
