My mates son had a dog called shaggy but his 4 yr old sis got hold of it and has somehow renamed it U98n pretty hard to shout the dog now and we cant see how to change it. The 4 yr old managed it how do we?

a brief trawl on google reveals that the name cannot be changed.

sounds like she either donated the old puppy to the dog hotel(if she has done this, you cant get it back) or she has put them in the hotel for a stay (if this is the case, you can get them back

I must admit I ready your question without taking into account the title of your question and wondered how you "change" a dogs name. But after reading the answers it all makes sense now! Goes to show I need to pay attention which is what my school teachers used to tell me.
