Some people have said that wireless doesnt work too well on the 360. Would I be better using an ethernet cable between router and xbox or just go ahead and buy the wireless adaptor for the 360?

The pro's and cons are the cable would need to be about 15m to reach from router to 360 but much cheaper than the wireless adaptor. TBH the big selling point for me would be reliability of the connection.

for reliability go with cable every time.

Though the Xbox wireless is no more or less stable than any other wireless no wireless can be 100% guaranteed to work everywhere, it is far too susceptible to interference from other things.

we have a long ethernet cable from pc to our son's xbox and have found it reliable. (I'm hopeless with distances butmaybe 15ft would cover it) the connection has proved more reliable than the flippin xbox tho :)

Thanks for that. I feel the cable would be best purely because its more reliable and cheaper.
