My vote goes to the Barcode Battler from the ealy 1990s,
an electronic hand held game that I never understood or made any sense of.

It bombed !
The best 'barcode' came from the back of a packet of rice sold solely in Japan..........

I spent a couple of weeks clipping barcodes of my shopping to give to my son.

To be honest, the amount of grief away from the console wasn't rewarded by any benefits whilst playing.
