PS2 new slimline

Is there no chance of getting hold of a new PS2 before xmas? If there is a chance please can someone point me in the right direction (not ebay) thanks x

I've posted this same question on here 3 days ago- try reading the Previously asked Questions bit!!
The answer is probably 'no'.

2 rumours I've heard...

1.Some shops are expecting a delivery next week but if you aren't on their waiting lists you probably won't get one.

2. There has been a fire at the factory that makes them and no more will be delivered until January.

If you're really desperate, they are going on Ebay for about �150

Amazon have just got some new ones in but they start at �225!! What a rip off!!

According to "Game" shop, UK, if you put a deposit down on a Slim line PS2, they will guarantee Xmas delivery ?!! That was as of last Saturday though!!

as usual with these things at xmas,there will be a last minute influx of said ps2's !
