ds lite and wi fi query

how do i connect my ds lite so that i can download extra's.eg on professor laytons first game their are extra games that can be found.do i need extra leads or something else besides a computer brain.i do have a laptop and a pc..
sorry if i appear a bit dense on this one,but i know some brainy person can help me on this site.cos they always do.
cant wait for next episode coming out next week,think may need time off work to play this one its been a long time waiting but the wait is nearly over.

d you have wireless broadband? If so no wires needed, just the WEP key
