Nintendo Wii - where to start?
Hi
My boyfriend and I are thinking about buying a Nintendo Wii, but neither of us having played on one we don't understand what all the different things are!
On Amazon you can get the console and wii sports for £140, then if you buy wii play you get a free wiimote which sounds good, as I take it you'd want to have 2 remotes for some games? Or do you just take it in turns with things like bowling etc?
And what are these nunchuck things and motion plus I've seen mentioned, I can't find anything which tells me in idiot speak what they are!
Also do the wiimotes need batteries or do you charge them?
Any help appreciated!
Thanks

If you want 2 player best to buy wii play with the remote as same price for single remote. then buy num chucks. you will need these for boxing, they are basically the remote for other hand. also I have a charging station for my remotes as batteries run out so quick
Not stupid at all. When you buy a charging station you will get a battery pack to replace the back where batteries go then a stand
loads on ebay or play

nunchuks are a must as most games outside of Wii sports / Wii play need them (one for each remote though expensive is a good idea)
the Wii can support 4 controllers (+ nunchuks) so if you've got mates maybe consider that too (tennis doubles is always a good laff)
as for games you're very spoilt for choice - mario galaxy is a personal favourite and for the man of the house the metroid collector's pack will no doubt keep him occupied
mario kart is another good one for groups of friends and for utter hilarity i can only reccomend any of the Raving Rabbids games as these are designed for four people and nothing is as funny (or different for that matter)
hope that helps and have fun!
