Curious Case of Inspector Clouseau
Can anyone tell me what song Peter Sellers sang (and played ukulele) in the closing credits of this Channel 4 documentary shown over christmas?
It was a black and white clip, and he was singing what sounded like a George Formby song along the lines of "Saturday night on my settee, oh what a lovely place to be......". If anyone knows what the song is, where I can find the lyrics and if there is a link on the web for this - that would be fandabeedozee!

However in the above video I believe he has his uke tuned slightly higher than standard (about 2 semitones?) and he plays Edim inbetween the transition from C to G7 (at the transition from the previous line to "I haven't told...me) and plays Dm6 alternating with G7 every two beats until the end of that line. Also at the bridge on the line "Mister" I think he plays E7 (4445) then goes back to D7 (2223). Anything else contact me at [email protected]
