Professor Layton & Pandora's Box

Having thoroughly enjoyed the first Prof Layton, I appear to have to have come to a complete stop after completing just 20 puzzles, with the Pandora's Box game. I have followed every arrow on every road, but have come to a halt unable to access anymore puzzles, or move forward in the story. Has anyone else had this problem or can anyone suggest a way I can progress further? I would appreciate any help. Many thanks

I have played this. At what point of the story are you up to? Are you looking for the cat or have you passed that?

Hi squarebear. The 2 guys have arrived in the village of Dropstone in time for the 50th anniversary of the village, and they decide to look around for information about the box. Every arrow I follow gets me where I've already been, and no new puzzles are coming up. I seem to have come to a grindstone, and can find no openings anywhere. It's very frustrating. The puzzles solved are numbers 1-30, then34,36,37, 41, 47,and the last one is 51, the crazy cats. And that's where I've stopped, not moving anywhere. Does that help? Cheers!

Sorry, finger trouble, I've completed a total of 36 puzzles, not 20, but I'm sure there are loads more.

Oh sorry. It's the Curious Village one I played. I misread, sorry to have built your hopes up.

I finished this puzzle a while back. Sorry I can't help out with a specific answer, but I do remember finding this part of the puzzle somewhat confusing. I kept coming back to the train hoping that something would have changed! I think I had to talk to people more than once i.e. go away from the spot and then come back later. Certainly the little lane down and to the right of the station was a repeat visit and it took a while before the fair "opened up".

Thank you for your suggestions. I keep pressing various people but I merely get the messages they've given before, and the arrows keep taking me back to the station for no reason.I am now rapidly losing interest in this game as I can't move forward in any way. The Curious Village I enjoyed, but this game is frustrating.
