Gift for a Gamer

Hi, I've got to buy a small token gift for our neighbour's son. He's an online gamer, I think he plays battle/war type games. Any suggestions?

Very tricky! if hes an avid gamer then anything you buy will either be inferior or not wanted! Hard to buy something that will be appreciated for a small sum of money.

I agree with Mattk, very difficult. However if you know of a particular game you could see fi your local game store has any promotional posters for sale.

A tough 1 that is, could you not buy a giftcard/vouchers for a particular shop to use against a game

Thank you, you're all right of course. Games cost so much these days don't they. I suppose I thought there might be some t-shirt or something I could buy. But a gift card is probably the best move isn't it. Thank you again.

and if he is a playstation 3 person then you can put money in his online wallet. lets you buy playstation1 and 2 classic games, upgrades and expansion packs. cant go wrong.

Thanks very much everyone. He is an x-box user and apparently likes the game 'Call of Duty'. I think the Microsoft points idea is a really good one, although checking it out on Amazon, some people said they'd had probs getting the points to load. But I think that's what I'll get him though. Great.

you could pre order the new call of duty game for him. its called Black Ops and will be out in November. its a while away but i bet he will thank you a lot for it! you can pre order it for £20 but i cant remember where!

i tried to find it this morning but cant! i swear i saw it walking past a shop in town. im kicking myself for not doing it there and then! yano they are going to sell it for £54!!!!!!
