Original Xbox game on Xbox 360 problem

I have recently bought a compatible original xbox game to play on my 360 (purely nostalgia, used to play years ago).

The game works apart from there is no sound!!

Other original xbox games work fine so I am confused as to why this one might be different.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

not all originals work on a 360, the ones that do are not great either, maybe thats just my experience ;)

I think there is a patch you can download off the internet to run older games, I hae no doubt you have already done that though :S

Cazzz you are right, I have downloaded the patch before. The strange thing is that other original games run perfectly well!!

Sadly there is no support for "originals" any longer. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news there.

it's true not all games work well i had KOTOR 2 and although it played fine i couldn't change any of the game settings and the cut scences jumped. Easist thing to do pick up an orignal xbox about £20 on ebay and it will work perfectly.
