BT Vision
I'm new to BT Vision. Had a few problems at first but eventually everything settled down...........as far as I can tell.
Took up an offer to add Sky Sports 1 & 2 and ESPN. Took ages to get the box to allow me to view them in spite of it telling me, "Card recognised."
Today was a nightmare. Just as my wife and I switched to Sky1 to watch the Tennis, which we have been anxiously waiting for all week, the screen went black and then the setup multicouloured box came on saying if nothing happens for five minutes, start doing this and that and restarting and rescanning etc.
eventually, just as the match had finished and the presenters were analysing the match, it suddenly came-on and and it has been fine.......................so far.
Now the burning question is, "Does this happen often?" "Is there a specific way to proceed whenever it does happen?" One thing is for sure, the instructions on the screen are a joke...................reminds me of the typical helpdesk instructions, of check this, unplug and reinsert plug on that, power everything off, etc.
The sports package costs more than my subscription to BT Vision. There really isn't much live sports I care to watch, so when it does come around, I sure don't want to miss it. Just in case of mishap, I had setup the box to record the tennis..........but, as the whole thing was down, nothing was recorded.
I sure would appreciate some helpful comments and suggestions

Surely you jest. Thankfully I have only got a month contract for Sky 1&2, and ESPN.
But, I sincerly hope they have now got a handle on BT Vision as I still have ten months to run on that contract.
Thank you for the response.
