I lost most of my eyesight in one eye at the end of last year. Will the 3d effect work for me? How does it work?

my husband and son have xbox 360 and playstation 3 so they are on them a lot. They're all shooty games though, and zombies and alien rubbish. Halo is it? And call of duty types. I like a nice quiet puzzle!

how old is your daughter crisgal, as my son was saying today that the new 3d DS shouldn't be used by under 6's as it can damage their eyes for life, I don't know how he knows this yet as I haven't really seen anything other than the tv ad for it
