Levels of geekdom
As the online gaming community flourishes so does the level of geekdom people are prepared to reach.
In Forza, the racing game on the 360 I notice people organise online 'cruises'. This involves meeting in a lobby at a pre-defined time/date and taking out cars that meet certain criteria for a leisurely drive around a track, often stopping at various points to take photos of their cars.
The cars are often classified into groups such as 'pre 1960 non-modified', 'pre 1980 Ferrari' etc etc.
I can imagine some wind-up merchants probably get in there and slam head on into them at 150mph only to be bounced out of the lobby instantly!
What levels of geekdom have you noticed in games you play?
