Please help me!
My mum is 87 & starting to get a bit muddled at times & her eyesight is not great.
Shes not great with tech but pretty competent with her laptop & phone daily for general use.
i want to set up her phone and laptop with as many helpful apps, add ons, functions, buttons, sliders bars - etc etc as i can - anything - so she can use them both more easily.
I can't just show her how to use them as she'll forget,
so i'm looking for perhaps an app that can access the services etc & adapt their usage for her situation - does such an app exist?
Id also like something like a maybe a simple interactive PDF doc - perhaps with links to apps etc - to put on her homescreens, so she can just click on it, & it'll simply explain/show what to do to use certain functions - in a really simple way.
She wont do anything that involves settings or changing stuff or anything more complex, so needs to be as simple as possible & preferably does most of it for her.
any ideas?
One issue is, she has an Iphone, but a PC laptop - so the apps etc probably wont work on both, so i need 2 lots of stuff.
I have a PC & Android so i know hardly anything about Iphones
I know cortana for PC & Siri for iphone, & im going to set up both, but sometimes she wont know what to say, & will want to see lists, buttons or text instead.
And i know of the accessibility settings on the PC.
Ive set all her text to large.
Is there a way to rename Iphone app icons?
Or an app that maybe a long press will bring up an explanation of the the app itself.
I can rename PC icons easily - (to add notes as the icons are sometimes not that clear)
Is there an iphone app that will instantly magnify the text, when the finger zoom function doesnt work?
Anything else anyone knows of that could help her in any way, please suggest them too.
Thanks so much for any help :)

If the iPhone does not update to IOS 17, Apple's trade-in program allows credit toward a newer model iPhone.
