A B Carol Concert 2024
Time for my one and only regular thread and once again remembering those who are no longer with us. Among many more my dear friend Chakka35, that real smarty-pants Vestuste_Ennemi, dear old AOG, and the inimitable Mikey, a real live-wire of the AnswerBank and very much missed, And Emmie, if you're looking in, much love to you.
Please join me in posting your favourite Christmas music and your special messages for your special people.
My very best wishes to everyone for a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.
Sing up children!

Merry Christmas to all. We are away for the weekend, just local, so that we can meet friends in town and have a jolly without driving or traveling. Home for Christmas and I am cooking.

...And then my go-to every year -
Thank you for the thread, Naomi.
I'd like to add that my thoughts are with the families & friends of all those gone before us & with those AB'ers that are unwell & perhaps undergoing or recovering from treatment. I send my very best wishes to everyone for a Merry Christmas. X
I have sung in choirs for over 60 years and lean toward the carols I learnt as a chorister all those years ago.
Move on a few years to a Christmas Carol composed by John Rutter (born 1945). Sung as beautifully here by The Cmbridge Singers. Not a hint of vibrato, which is frowned upon in Choral Music.
