ds / ds lite ??

can anyone tell me what is the difference between the two kinds of games appart from the price??

And can you play DS games on the LITE version and vice versa??

The DS Lite is simply a more compact and more visually appealing version of the DS.
They're the same console they just look different.

The difference is that the DS LITE screen that the games are viewed on is so much brighter and lighter (hence the word LITE), you can easily see what you are playing - much better on the eyes than the older DS. Definitely worth the extra money. DS games do play on the DS LITE and use the brightness of the console to 'lift' the images. I don't think there are any games specifically for the DS LITE actually.
