Yes, its got me. the dreaded three red lights on the 360. anyone had any luck recovering their xbox360?

Sorry to break bad news, but once the 3 lights of doom come on, there is no way to fix it. No even technicians can change that.

unfortunatley thats your lot im afraid 3 red lights is death for a 360 your going to have to send back to microsoft there response times are not to bad so you should get it back in time for halo (hopefully)

you could do a hot fix(wrap it with a towel) but your are only postponing your problem.

thanks guys. i've contacted microsoft and its still under warranty as they've now extended the warranty to 3yrs.

Get it back to MS as soon as possible as they have a 25 day turnaround at the moment. My 360 has been away for a week now. If you miss the Halo 3 launch phone up and complain you may get some freebies

i had 4 red lights spinning on mine bout two weeks ago, it is still working but i had to switch it off at the mains first and leave for 5 mins. so what was this?

If you bought it from a shop eg hmv why not take it to them to exchange it
