I currently have a 360 but am going to sell it next week and get a ps3. am i doing the right thing? Is there much differance? When is the new grand turismo coming out for it? cheers
I can't praise it highly enough here. Only thing letting it down at the moment are a good selection of quality games, but these are on their way. Recommend MotorStorm, Resistance:Fall of Man and Tiger Woods 07 at the moment.
cheers guys, 1 of the reasons i was going to change is the blu ray. i want to be able to watch films in hd. if i buy the add on HD dvd drive for the 360 will it be the same?
Ive got a ps3, xbox360 and a wii and the ps3 is by far the best, as someone else said the only thing is the lack of game at the moment.
ghost recon is excellent for online play as is call of duty and motor storm, gran turismo looks excellent on the demos ive downloaded and its free for on line play.
and it also plays blue -ray movies.
not sure when gran turismo comes out but ive preorded assains creed, google it and watch the demo, its completly interactive, you can climb almost any wall or object and if you bumb into another character he may attack you ..or not!
ps3 v xbox 360, well, I have both, they are really good, but the ps3 it 10 mins for Quiet than the 360, the ps3 does have the blu ray player and its great, and it looks better, So I think the ps3 is better. hope this helps
Well I did exactly the same thing as you and I wouldn't go back. Had a 360 for a year and traded it in back in June for a PS3 and it is so much better. I agree that there aren't that many decent games out at the moment but it's new. I'm sure when the 360 came out there were few decent games.
Blu-ray, (Most say that's gonna be the winner out of the BR/HD-DVD battle). That's an extra 100 for a HD-DVD player for 360.
At the end of the day the PS3 is totally futureproofed, just look at some of the extra capabilties the PS3 is going have that it doesn't have at the moment.
The 360 peaked ages ago and as yet developers have only scratched the surface of the PS3's capabilities.
