i have been playing a game on the 360 for a while now but today it the 360 kept saying that the disc needed cleaning. I have checked the disc and it is clean, and even wiped it over with a soft cloth. Could anyone please advise me as to what product i can use to clean my disc.

I tend to just wipe mine with a soft duster, I bought a lens cleaning kit which comes with disc cleaner as well, but it doesn't really make much of a difference over a duster.

If your 360 is having trouble reading discs, then try a lens cleaner on it and have a blow into the disc slot when it's open. That should keep it at bay for a while. My old one struggled to read discs sometimes and I would just keep opening and shutting the tray until it decided it liked the disc.

this has happened to a few of my games and no amount of polishing has fixed it. happened to me on mass effect as soon as i took it out of the box andi lost the ****** receipt.
unlucky man, sounds like its a dud.

Is your 360 standing up or laying flat????

When I stood mine uprtight it used to mark the discs.

If there perfectly round rings then they could be laser marks and you can take your discs to gamestation where they have machines to remove a very fine layer off your disc and clean it like new.

So my advice would be to lay your xbox flat if it isnt allready and if it keeps doing it then ring up xbox customer services and im sure they may send UPS out to collect and repair it.

I was having the same problem on Band of Brothers Hells Highway. i put it on my harddrive and it seems to work smoothly now
