pc to tv

Tried other sites but unable to advise so maybe one of you guys out there may know.
I wish to view contents (sound & vision) of my Packard Bell Easynote MZ36-T-015 Laptop on my Samsung LE37A457 CID LCD TV.
Both have an VGA connector point.
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to connect with just a VGA cable and what setting would need to be changed (either in laptop or tv)

You'd need a VGA cable between the TV and laptop for picture and for sound, you'd need an audio cable going from the laptop to the audio in on the TV.

Change TV channel to (usually) Computer

You might need to do the FN+F4 (or whatever combination it is on your laptop) to get the picture on the TV screen.
