Dear All,

Anyone feel their favourite franchises have been left by the wayside? Here are a few games I'd like to see new versions of:

MicroMachines
Timesplitters

What about you? Anything your feel has been sadly neglected?

All the best,

I wish they'd hurry up and release Half Life 3
A new Spyro in the format of the old ones (not the awful recent PS3 games) and Sphinx too.
Question Author
Do you prefer the "episode" format to the old fashioned "Feature" format Naz?

Never liked Spyro much - what is wrong with the recent games Prudie?
There was a PSone game called "Hogs of War" - which was basically a simple strategy game with groups of pigs (voiced by Rik Mayall I think using various different accents) fighting each other in a kind of WW1 style iyswim, I know it sounds wierd but I loved it - i would pay big money to play an updated sequel to that!
No preference ... all equally playable, even the oldies and the spin-offs like Blue Shift etc.
He can fly all the time and obviously the graphics are much more detailed (but less definition IMO) but he he moves less freely and the whole experience is less crisp and precise.
I 'ate change
Duke Nukem 3D..... oh hold up, they finally are releasing a sequel, it's only taken just under 15years!
Banjo Tooie and some more Zelda games. I love adventure games.
Haha, I remember Hogs of War! Brilliant 2 player game.

Not sure about sequel but they should re-release Kula World (old PS1 game). Theres a good reason why it still fetches 60 GBP a copy on ebay. Someone said you can buy in online for PS3 but not sure as I'm a 360 lad now.

A sequel to Oblivion maybe?
Question Author
Looks like it Booldawg: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kula_World Too bad there isn't a XBLA version for you.

tiggerblue10 - Try Okami http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%8Ckami for the PS2 - it is much like a Zelda game in many respects, but with a dog with a magic paintbrush in a world of Japanese-style ink-art.
serious sam (I think one is in the pipeline)

galaxy on fire to be made into a console/pc game (its only available on phone)

elite

simon the sorcerer
I loved Doom, wish they would bring out a new one.
doom 3 was quite scary

a world away from cuddily grunts and pink things (I cant remember the name of them, they used to snort and if they got too close you could hear scratching and punching noises)
Thanks Ed, just checked it out on Wiki. Looks good. I don't have a PS2 but my brother has lent me his PSP so I'll see if its available for that.
Question Author
Or at worst, the game + a 2nd hand PS2 will only cost you £20-30 and you'll get hours and hours out of it. I'd also recommend Shadow of the colossus (not quite zelda - a bit "harder" but still good).

Cazz, is Galaxy on Fire that phone Space Shooter?
pacman
ok not really just wanted to join in the conversation but know diddly squat about games :0(
Question Author
Also, I think there is enough DOOM in the world already! Doom 3 was superb as far as I was concerned. You should be able to pick up a copy (of the original) for your phone. It's good for waiting rooms, bus-stop and hanging around outside changing rooms (best make sure your girlfriend is in there otherwise you'll look a bit...odd).
I loved pacman zz. Nothing wrong with that.
Shadow Of The Colossus was excellent - wonder what the film of it (due out 2012) will be like?
