Help with death record please.

I've gone back to try and finish off some loose ends in my tree,and had given up on this one, so I thought i'd call on craft and dotty or anyone else that could help.Louis/Louie William Crottigini/Crottogini born1882 in Hull to my Gt Grandmother Ellen and her second husband Paul Crottigini.I have Louis/Louie in 1901 aged 19 he isn't on the 1911 census,so assume he died between those dates.There is no trace at all that I can find of his death record.It doesn't help that the name is spelt differently every time it comes up.I've tried every thing but no luck,any help once again would be very much appreciated.

I've found the death record for Male on the genealogist, ancestry has the wrong page number and link. It is.... Unknown, Male aged 30 Hull 1906 Q3 9d 174.

Apparently at the end of each quarter after the Z's it lists all the Unknowns.

Yes,thats the one.I wonder if thats Louis?I suppose we'll never know.

You might if the death certificate gives 'fell into vat' as cause of death lol......

I think you should try to get a look at the lal papers of the era to see if there was a coroners report or even an news report of the accident, it's probable you will find both but the search would be quite tough unless the local library has indexed the papers by surnames that appear in articles, which many have done.
