I am trying to find out some information regarding my mum who used to be a Windmill Girl and I believe danced with Peggy in the 1940's. Her name was Olive Varney (may have been known as Vaughan),I do not know her stage name but would be grateful for any information Thanks

Can't help you personally I'm afraid but you might try asking 'the horse's mouth' as it were. There was a Windmill reunion- I'm sure they might be able to help.

There was an Olive Martin who lived just outside of Chichester,West Sussex, she died possibly 8-10 years ago. She had been a dancer and I believe danced in China in the 1930s.
