Thanks very much TOH - that would be great x
Click on Census and voters list.
Click UK census collection
Scroll down to the bottom under the search form (which you need not fill in) click a year this will bring up a menu on the right where you can choose the County,Town/Village and also if you click on view enumeration district this will give the streets that have been recorded in a given district,so you know which one to look in without trawling through them all.

Sorry Polly, I can't see the voterslist or census collection options ......................
Say for instance you want an address in the 1901 census............click on 1901, then go to the bottom and click on 1901 England.............when that screen comes up at the right hand side you should have options for County, Civil Parish, and District.
When you've selected the County and Parish and sub-registraion district you can look through the enumeration districts to find the street you want (using the hyperlink "View description" etc will bring you to the front sheet showing you the names of the streets in that district)
