2 day fact finding hearing in the family court, what happens?
1 Answers
I have to attend a fact finding hearing in the family court, relating to a child contact matter, allegations have been made which are the centre of the contact issue, as yet no proof of them has been found, but the allegations have not been withdrawn and i understand that they will not be, i am puzzled what a fact finding hearing will find if there is no proof of these allegations? and why 2 days have been set aside for it? how is the hearing conducted? and what can i expect to happen? further to this a cafcass childrens guardian is becoming involved but this isnt scheduled until weeks after the fact finding hearing.

Cafcass was established about 10 years ago to promote the welfare and interests of children, though you refer to the Cafcass guardian.
You will find the family court atmosphere is very relaxed; you appear not to have consulted with a solicitor, is this wise?
