Catherine Carey

[Barmaid]

Am trying to trace Catherine Carey (think alternative spelling could be Kerry). According to her marriage certificate she was born in 1897. According to her death certificate she was born in 1900. She married Andrew McCluskey/McCluskie in Glasgow in 1917. Her parents were John Carey and Katherine Prior.

It is rumoured there is an irish connection here.

Any help would be much appreciated, please!

I've found a bit more info. She was born in 1898 in Glasgow. Dad was a wood turner born in 1870. Mum was born in 1875. Can't find her on any census returns though!

this is the only catherine carey i can find on the 1901 born around 1900 in scotland, her mother is catherine but her father james , an upholstrer, what was his occupation on the marriage cert?

the occupations don;t match but the details on the people do , apart from Barbara. It may be that the child in hospital is Catherine and her mother died and john remarried?

nope that's not right, the catherine on the 1891 is john's sister.
