How can I find my childhood records?
Born London after WW2 but put up for adoption from Bethnal Green to Stowlangtoft Hall a Children`s Nursery in Mid Suffolk around 1947/8.
Would love to see records of this move to Suffolk especially any records of the actual home.
Apart from my own adoption records my local Social Services are unable to find info Suffolk end.
Record office suggests I contact the LCC but not sure where to start as this doesn`t exist anymore.
