Mary Ann Leman (Nee Reed)
6 Answers
I have been looking for ages to track when this lady died. Facts I know are:-
11.5.1820 - married Paul Downton Leman in Keynsham
c 1821 - son Henry Paul Leman born, probably in London, though as yet untraced
1841 census - Paul a widower, with just one child
My guess is that as Henry was their only child, Mary Ann may well have died in childbirth. A Mary Ann Reed has been found baptised in 1804, so perhaps only aged 17.
If anyone can assist on this, and on Henry's birth, it would be much appreciated.
