Family Tree Charts

I've drawn up some detailed and complex family trees without the use of any program but it's a very laborious task. Has anybody used any free programs which will accept a GEDCOM file?

I use Family Treemaker for the database but it uses too much paper.

I have used Brothers Keeper for many years. Its share ware you only pay when you have decided you like it. I think any family tree printed from a program like this tends to run into many pages. BK accepts GEDCOM files of course.
